Madia Coleman

Madia Coleman is the associate director of Media Relations on the Press team at American Progress. Prior to joining American Progress, Coleman was the deputy communications director for Gov. Kathy Hochul (D-NY) and worked on Lt. Gov. Antonio Delgado’s campaign (D-NY), Mayor Eric Adams’ (D) campaign, and at the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee in various communications roles. She earned a bachelor’s degree in political science with a minor in African and African American studies. She loves to travel, dance, and attend concerts and live shows.
