Doug Molof is the director for Government Affairs at American Progress. Molof previously served as a senior advisor in the office of Rep. Lloyd Doggett (D-TX) and handled trade, defense, labor, financial services, appropriations, and veterans’ issues. He has twice served as Rep. Doggett’s campaign manager, including during his reelection campaign immediately following the 2011 redistricting that dramatically redrew the district. A native of Austin, Texas, Molof is a proud graduate of the University of Texas at Austin with degrees in journalism and economics.
