Kalina Gibson is a research assistant for International Climate Policy at American Progress. Prior to joining American Progress, Gibson worked at World Resources Institute, focusing on their Electric School Bus Initiative, and at the Andiron Group, where she worked with clean energy clients in Oceania. She also worked for the World Bank’s Amazon Sustainable Landscapes Program, tracking conservation funding in the Amazon basin. Gibson’s academic background includes intensive Hindi studies in Jaipur, India, through the Boren scholarship and dual degrees in economics and environmental science and policy from the University of Maryland.
