Tymoni Correa-Buntley is the director of digital campaigns for Digital Strategy at American Progress. Before joining American Progress, she worked with several media organizations to create and execute multimedia storytelling and social media projects. Motivated by her experiences as a news producer, she also led a project that highlighted problematic news practices that harm BIPOC communities.

Correa-Buntley has a Master of Science in professional studies with concentrations in entrepreneurship and criminal justice, as well as a Bachelor of Science in journalism and political science from Rochester Institute of Technology.

The Rochester, New York, native is passionate about providing a platform for communities often left out of critical conversations, a mission she hopes to push further in Washington, D.C.
