Julia Schroeder is an assistant editor on the Production team at American Progress. Before joining American Progress, Schroeder served as a Peace Corps volunteer in the Dominican Republic and then worked as a program support assistant for the U.S. Department of Justice. She has a double major in English literature and Spanish language from Knox College in Galesburg, Illinois. Outside of work, Schroeder volunteers for the nonprofit publication Hola Cultura.
