Alex Rowell is a research associate for Economic Policy at American Progress. Born and raised in South Georgia, he served as a campaign fellow for the state’s Democratic senatorial and gubernatorial campaigns in 2014. Rowell is a former intern at American Progress. He holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Georgia, where he studied economics, political science, and international affairs.
