Kenny Lo is a research associate for Criminal Justice Reform at American Progress. In his current role, Lo works to develop policy solutions to ground criminal justice legislation in empirical evidence and advance a fairer, more equitable, and more effective justice system. Prior to joining American Progress, he worked in Compass Lexecon on matters of antitrust litigation and M&A analysis. Lo holds a bachelor’s degree in economics from the University of California, Berkeley, where he did his thesis on the role of prosecutorial discretion in creating racial disparities of sentence length.
