Thomas Huelskoetter is the policy analyst of Health Policy at American Progress. Prior to joining American Progress in 2013, he taught high school English in France and interned with the Center on Budget and Policy Priorities, as well as former President Barack Obama’s re-election campaign in Virginia. Huelskoetter graduated from Kenyon College in 2012 with a bachelor’s degree in political science. He was born in New Orleans and grew up in Alabama and Virginia.
