Charlotte Hancock is the program director for the Higher Ed Not Debt campaign—a nationwide, multiyear effort to ensure that a quality higher education is affordable and accessible to all, without the burden of financial hardship. Hancock joins the campaign from the Society for Neuroscience, where she served as the media communications coordinator and grew and managed the society’s global, digital, and social media presence. Previously, she worked as an on-air reporter and social media coordinator for the CBS affiliate in the U.S. Virgin Islands.

Hancock is a native of the U.S. Virgin Islands and graduated from the College of William and Mary with a B.A. in English. She enjoys boating and sampling D.C.’s frozen dairy confections.
