Kyle Epstein is the media relations manager and producer of the Thinking CAP podcast at American Progress. Before joining American Progress in 2015, he worked in the multicultural affairs practice at the Dewey Square Group, where he supported targeted campaigns and public affairs for communities of color on various political, social, and civil rights issues. He has also worked in the office of then-Rep. Chris Van Hollen (D-MD) and with the Buenos Aires-based Fundación Ambiente y Recursos Naturales.

Epstein was born and raised in Silver Spring, Maryland, and graduated from Wake Forest University with a bachelor’s degree in politics and international affairs. He enjoys playing piano, reading, and pretending to exercise.
