Kate Davidson is the receptionist at American Progress. She is a former criminal defense paralegal and U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) contractor. In the office of Democracy and Governance at USAID Ghana, she worked with education nongovernmental organizations from across the country and was officially recognized by the mission director for her work in jump-starting a new department. She was born in Egypt, attended high school in Israel, worked for USAID in Ghana, and her nuclear family is spread across three continents. Her experiences—international and domestic, professional and personal—have helped form her passion for advocacy and creating positive change among diverse populations across the globe.
