Leah Puttkammer

Manager, Outreach and Special Projects

Leah Puttkammer is the Manager of Outreach and Special Projects at American Progress. Prior to joining the Center, Leah was a member of the communications team at the American Civil Liberties Union of Tennessee, where she directed public education campaigns and events. Previously, Leah worked at the Brookings Institution, where she managed administrative and outreach activities for the Tax Policy Center and the Retirement Security Project and served as development coordinator of the Economic Studies Program.

Leah received a B.S. in political science and a second B.S. in journalism from Oklahoma State University.
