Alison Canavan

Business Alliance Senior Manager

Alison Canavan is the Business Alliance Senior Manager at American Progress. Prior to joining the Center, Alison was a member of the Corporate Partnerships team at the American Red Cross. At the Red Cross Alison managed relationships with major corporations, matching their philanthropic interests to mission critical programs. In addition to working with a portfolio of donors, she coordinated the elite corporate donor recognition program for the organization. Previously, Alison worked at the American Bar Association Death Penalty Representation Project as a project assistant.

Alison received a B.A. in political science and communications, legal institutions, economics, and government from American University.
