Kwame Boadi is a Policy Analyst with the Economic Policy team at American Progress. His work focuses on strengthening the middle class and U.S. global competitiveness. Prior to joining American Progress, Kwame worked as a policy analyst at the DC Fiscal Policy Institute, an affiliate of the Center on Budget and Policy Priorities. His work at DCFPI focused on local economic development and tax policy issues in Washington, D.C., including tax expenditures. Previously, Kwame worked in the offices of Virginia Sen. Mark Warner and former Virginia Gov. Tim Kaine.
Kwame earned a master’s degree in international relations from the Johns Hopkins University School of Advanced International Studies and a bachelor’s degree in political science and economics from the University of Virginia.
