Sarah Rosenberg is a Policy Analyst on the Education Policy team at American Progress. Prior to joining American Progress, Sarah worked as a policy analyst at the education policy think tank Education Sector, where her work focused primarily on teacher and leader quality, union-district collaboration, and pension reform. As a graduate student, she worked as an education policy intern for the Senate Health, Education, Labor, and Pensions, or HELP, Committee and later as a policy and communications intern for Action for Children, a North Carolina-based child advocacy organization. As a Teach for America corps member, Sarah taught high school English in rural North Carolina.
Originally from Chapel Hill, North Carolina, Sarah holds a bachelor’s degree from Wesleyan University in Middletown, Connecticut, and a master’s degree from the Sanford School of Public Policy at Duke University.
