Danielle Baussan

Associate Director, Government Affairs

Danielle Baussan is Associate Director of Government Affairs with a focus on advocating energy, environment, and infrastructure issues to federal, state, and local officials. Prior to joining the Center, she was majority counsel for the Select Committee on Energy and Global Warming, where she focused on state and local environmental initiatives, sustainable development, energy efficiency, and alternative fuels. She previously served the District of Columbia government as director of intergovernmental affairs for the Anacostia Waterfront Corporation, policy advisor under Mayor Anthony Williams, and a Capital City Fellow. A graduate of Rutgers College and University of Virginia Law School, she began her Washington, D.C., career as a legal associate at DLA Piper Rudnick.
