This Union Win in Georgia Is a Win for the Clean Energy Future

After successfully forming a union with United Steelworkers, workers at the Blue Bird electric school bus manufacturing plant in Georgia have moved one step closer to securing a safer and fairer workplace while building the clean energy future.

The clean energy boom, supercharged by investments in the Inflation Reduction Act and President Joe Biden’s broader economic plan, is delivering for America’s middle class. Thousands of workers across the country have landed new clean energy jobs—including workers at the Blue Bird electric school bus manufacturing plant in Georgia. These workers have successfully formed a union with the United Steelworkers, moving a step closer to securing a safer and fairer workplace while building the clean energy future.
