Jack Jenkins is a Senior Writer and Researcher with the Faith and Progressive Policy Initiative. Jack worked in electoral politics for several years before joining the project, including a lengthy stint as a field staffer for Barack Obama’s 2008 campaign for president. He also worked as a reporter and blogger for the Religion News Service, covering stories on the interplay between religion and politics in the United States.
Jack has a bachelor’s degree in history and religion/philosophy from Presbyterian College and a master’s degree in divinity from Harvard University. His academic interests include worship practices, Reformed theology, and the intersection of religion, politics, and the media.
