On behalf of the Center for American Progress, I want to extend my deepest sympathy to all victims and families affected by the devastating terrorist attacks in Paris. We stand with the people of France as they have always stood with the American people. We know France will never bow to terrorists and extremists who seek to destroy the peace and kill the innocent. People of goodwill throughout the world must unite to fight these cowardly acts of terror.
