DACA Interfaith and Civil Rights Prayer Breakfast

U.S. Capitol Visitor Center, Meeting Room North (CVC 268)
1:30 - 2:45 PM EST

On November 12, 2019, please join the Center for American Progress for a prayer and civil rights breakfast inside the U.S. Capitol Visitor Center Meeting Room North (CVC 268). Later that morning, the U.S. Supreme Court will hear oral arguments in a series of cases challenging the Trump administration’s efforts to terminate the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program. This event will bring civil rights and faith leaders together with directly affected community members for a moment of spiritual and moral reflection on what is at stake for DACA recipients, their families, and our nation.

We would be honored to have you join us at the DACA interfaith prayer breakfast. We will close this event with an invitation for participants to walk across the street to the Supreme Court steps to join our partners for the “Home Is Here” rally.

Please let us know at your earliest convenience if you are available to attend. This event will be open to press.
