Lammy, drawing from a breadth of leadership experience—most recently as shadow justice minister and previously as minister of higher education under Prime Minister Gordon Brown and minister of culture under Prime Minister Tony Blair—has championed bold ideas centered on making foreign policy work for everyday people and advancing the global public good, including his proposal for a Transatlantic Anti-Corruption Council.
