Weeks after the Saudi journalist Jamal Khashoggi’s disappearance and reported murder in Istanbul, the Saudi government’s cover story has failed to answer basic questions, despite mounting evidence that Saudi operatives killed him. U.S. President Donald Trump has signaled that he would like to sweep all of this under the rug.
