In 2008, British Columbia implemented North America’s most ambitious carbon tax. Eight years later, we visited the province to see how the tax is faring in its efforts to reduce greenhouse gas emissions, gauge its impact on the economy, and see what lessons we can learn here in the United States about carbon pricing schemes.
