This session will explore strategies for holding education systems accountable to the students, families, and communities they serve. Panelists will consider the role of assessment, the importance of accreditation and licensure, mechanisms in place for ensuring quality, and the implications for equity in each. The discussion will include an overview of the challenges of ensuring access to quality educational experiences and present new ways of thinking about what accountability means for educators who value inclusion and equity.
