Washington, D.C. — TODAY at 2:30 p.m., Center for American Progress President and CEO Neera Tanden will join U.S. Sen. Brian Schatz (D-HI) on a press call to discuss new estimates from CAP and Harvard University researchers on the increase in deaths resulting from coverage losses under the American Health Care Act (AHCA).

Recent studies of the effects of insurance coverage on mortality confirm that health care coverage has an impact on whether Americans live or die. The column will provide estimates of additional deaths under the AHCA by state.
