ADVISORY: Press Call Today to Discuss Rollback of Health Care Rights Law

Washington, D.C. – Today, the Trump administration proposed a rule that would roll back critical protections under the Health Care Rights Law that are essential to securing the overall health and well-being of LGBTQ people and women.

The Center for American Progress will host a conference call TODAY at 11:00 ET with LGBTQ and health care experts to discuss how this move will weaken protections from discrimination and cause patients to be turned away or denied medically necessary care simply because of who they are.
