Through executive actions, governors can make immediate changes that can ensure that early learning programs are administered efficiently, funding streams are maximized, and that early learning programs are inclusive of all children. Importantly, governors can also lead the charge to increase funding for early childhood programs and work with their legislature to prioritize state investments in young children.
