A private luncheon and discussion with John Podesta and Maria Shriver.
For the first time in our nation’s history, women represent half of all workers and are becoming the primary breadwinners in more families than ever before. This shift is generating one of the largest transformations in American families and the American work force.
The growing dominance of women in the workplace has far-reaching consequences to all aspects of American life: government, business, faith communities, the media, women, and, yes, even men. The fact is, we are increasingly becoming A Woman’s Nation™.
The project is led by Maria Shriver and the Center for American Progress (CAP), in partnership with TIME magazine, NBC News, Telemundo, Hewlett Packard, the Rockefeller Foundation, VISA and the USC Annenberg Center on Communication Leadership and Policy.
The Shriver Report, co-edited by CAP senior economist Heather Boushey and CAP Senior Fellow Ann O’Leary, will break ground across all aspects of American life, and will be of interest to every American business, politician, labor organization, and faith institution.
We invite you to join us in supporting this historic study and movement and look forward to seeing you in October.
