Roundtable on International Labour Organization’s Global Wage Report

10:00 - 11:00 AM EST

Wage stagnation and income inequality are central issues for economic policy in the U.S. and other advanced economies. The International Labour Organization’s Global Wage Report 2014/15 contributes to the policy debate by providing comprehensive data on wage trends and their contribution to inequality, and by identifying policy responses to affect these dynamics over time.

Please join the Center for American Progress and the International Labour Organization for a roundtable discussion on the findings of the Global Wage Report and policy ideas to reduce income inequality and create more inclusive prosperity.

Featured participants:
Sandra Polaski, Deputy Director, International Labour Organization
Gary Burtless, Senior Fellow, Brookings Institution
Josh Bivens, Research and Policy Director, Economic Policy Institute
