During the last eight years, the Council played a leadership role, taking action to respond to the changing dynamics of families, modernize workplaces, expand opportunity, reduce inequality, combat gender discrimination, and help level the playing field for all in the United States and around the world. Their important work helped pave the way for concrete policy changes that continue to play a vital role promoting the economic stability, health and well-being, and overall stability of working families.
