About This Event
On the heels of last year’s decision upholding the Affordable Care Act, the conclusion of the 2012-13 Supreme Court term brings more major decisions, this year on several foundational issues for our democracy: voting rights, marriage equality, diversity in education, and several new decisions about the scope of corporate power over the consumer in modern America.
To tie all of these strands together and put into context the Supreme Court’s record on civil rights and corporate rights, please join the Center for American Progress’s Legal Progress program for a special presentation on the Supreme Court justices and what their decisions mean for the progressive community and for all Americans.
We’ll also be unveiling a new campaign around the courts that you will not want to miss.
