In response to a California ballot initiative to make preschool available to all of the state’s 4-year-olds, the Reason Foundation published “The Case Against Universal Preschool in California,” a paper peppered with vast inconsistencies and incorrect facts. The paper attempts to mislead the public and divert attention away from the benefits of preschool by presenting unreliable data and drawing false conclusions.
