Supporting the Strength in Diversity Act (H.R. 729)

Led by the National Coalition on School Diversity, this letter expresses support for the Strength in Diversity Act.

In this letter, the National Coalition on School Diversity and partner organizations express support for the Strength in Diversity Act, which would create a voluntary grant program to support states and school districts seeking to better prepare their students for the 21st century workforce. Research shows that all students attending diverse schools reap social and academic benefits. The passage of this legislation is particularly important as the country emerges from a pandemic that has disproportionately harmed students of color and low-income students.
