Led by the Education Trust and EducationCounsel, this memo outlines critical policy actions that the Biden-Harris administration should take during its first term to advance educational equity in nine key areas. These policy actions will help transform our educational systems to better serve and support improved outcomes for students of color, students from low-income backgrounds, English learners, students experiencing homelessness, students with disabilities, and immigrant students.
