Washington, D.C. – Today, the Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals became the first court of appeals to rule on the constitutionality on the Affordable Care Act. The Court affirmed the decision of the lower court and held that the law’s individual responsibility provision is "a valid exercise of Congress’s authority under the Commerce Clause."
