Washington, D.C.— In the aftermath of the killing of Osama bin Laden, there has been rampant speculation on the nature of the intelligence used to plan the raid. To help explain the methods used by the military and intelligence officials, please join the National Security Network and the Center for American Progress for a press call to examine these practices and policies and how they fit into the United States’ overall counterterrorism and foreign policy.

The call will take place on Thursday, May 5th at 11:15 a.m. EST, and will feature Maj. Gen. (Ret.) Paul Eaton, NSN Senior Advisor; Ken Gude, Managing Director for National Security at CAP; Matthew Alexander, an Air Force officer and interrogator who led the interrogation team that tracked down the leader of al Qaeda in Iraq; and Glenn L. Carle, former CIA Clandestine Service officer and Deputy National Intelligence officer for Transnational Threats.
