TODAY — Rally at Supreme Court to Mark Constitution Day, Stakes of Kavanaugh Nomination

Washington, D.C. — As the Senate Judiciary Committee considers the nomination of Judge Brett Kavanaugh to the Supreme Court, progressive groups will host a rally at the high court on Monday to mark Constitution Day and remind the public of the real lives and issues at stake.

Please join the Center for American Progress, Constitutional Accountability Center, and other groups as we hear stories from individual plaintiffs and people whose lives have been profoundly changed by the ways our founding legal document has been interpreted to protect reproductive rights, LGBTQ equality, immigration, anti-Muslim discrimination, disability rights, voting rights, gun violence, and other critical issues.

Following the rally, women leaders will host a press event to comment on the sexual assault allegations against Kavanaugh and calls for him to withdraw his nomination.
