Washington, D.C. – On Tuesday, December 10, the Center for American Progress along with the Corporation for Enterprise Development, will host a discussion with experts on tax incentives for retirement savings. The panel will include Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-MA), as well as representatives from the National Council of La Raza, CFED, CAP, and AARP.
This event will address the ways that the tax code greatly encourages retirement savings by high-income earners but has fewer incentives for middle-class savers, and will discuss savings policy changes that have the potential to build retirement security for a greater number of Americans.
