Washington, D.C. — On Tuesday, April 1, the Center for American Progress and Molad: The Center for the Renewal of Israeli Democracy will host a conference in Jerusalem on regional security and foreign policy. The conference will open with a keynote by Israeli opposition leader, MK Yitzhak Herzog, and will be followed by two panels: one on Israeli-Palestinian negotiations and one on U.S. and Israeli policy toward Iran.
Public and political debate on a possible deal over Iran’s nuclear program and on the Israeli-Palestinian negotiations often falls within known boundaries, characterized by familiar tropes and talking points. This conference aims to examine these issues from new angles and move toward developing a view of joint U.S. and Israeli national security interests within a shared progressive framework.
The entire conference will be streamed on CAP’s website.
