Clark

Michael Clark is a research associate for China policy in the National Security and International Policy department at American Progress, where he leads and contributes to original research and analysis on China policy challenges such as geopolitical competition, global influence, technology, cross-strait relations, and climate. His work includes travel to and engagement with the People’s Republic of China and is informed by a robust international network of China-focused professionals spanning government, academia, and the private sector.

Prior to joining American Progress, Clark served as a China analyst intern at the U.S. Department of State and did freelance translation work. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Chinese and French languages from the University of Virginia and a master’s degree in international politics and China studies from Johns Hopkins SAIS’ Hopkins-Nanjing Center in China. He speaks French (DALF C2) and Chinese (C1).

在加入美国进步中心之前，柯迈克曾在美国国务院担任中国事务分析实习生，还曾担任调酒师并从事自由翻译工作。他拥有美国弗吉尼亚大学中文与法语双学士学位，以及南京大学-约翰斯·霍普金斯大学中美文化研究中心国际政治硕士学位。柯迈克精通中文 (C1) 与法语 (C2)。
