Written and directed by Liz Sargent, “Take Me Home” is about a young disabled woman named Anna as she helps provide caregiving for her aging parents. The story examines the shifting demands on Anna’s family as they deal with the American health care system and other structural barriers that can destroy vulnerable families. The movie delicately balances independence, interconnection, family, and community.
