The Center for American Progress signed a letter written by Student Voice to President-elect Joe Biden, Vice President-elect Kamala Harris, and the Education Agency Review Team. The letter urges the incoming administration to meaningfully partner with young people to develop policies addressing educational inequity. In order to ensure engagement is substantive, the letter recommends five key mechanisms the Department of Education can employ.
