Supporting the Expansion of Next Generation Community Schools
Scott Sargrad, former vice president of K-12 Education Policy at CAP, joins his fellow members of the Task Force on Next Generation Community Schools to pen a letter to the incoming Biden-Harris administration about the benefits of community schools and the short- and long-term steps the administration can take to scale community schools nationwide. These recommendations include executive actions that President-elect Joe Biden can take immediately upon entering office, ways to support community schools through COVID-19 relief plans, and long-term strategies to support the growth of community schools.
