Led by the Center for American Progress, this letter requests that the Biden administration establish an interagency working group focused on modernizing, diversifying, and elevating the teaching profession.

This working group would include deputy secretaries from several federal agencies and would seek the feedback and perspectives of students, families, educators, researchers, and state and local elected officials from around the country.
