President Donald Trump neither understands nor cares about what’s really driving migration in the Americas. But understanding why people are leaving their home for the treacherous journey north is key to knowing how to manage it. In this video, we explain why the United States must reject the politics of cruelty and chart a new course on migration policy that is cooperative, compassionate, and pragmatic.
