Prosecutors Improving Safety Through More Effective Accountability

Ramsey County District Attorney John Choi describes how his office is collaborating with law enforcement and community members to improve public safety.

Ramsey County District Attorney John Choi explains how prosecutors are working collaboratively in St. Paul, Minnesota, to improve safety by changing the way they hold people accountable and focusing on strategies that address the underlying issues driving crime. The city has significantly reduced auto thefts by building collaborations between law enforcement, community organizations, and families, as well as providing support and services to underserved and vulnerable young people.
