Led by GLSEN, this letter urges members of Congress to co-sponsor a new proposed resolution affirming the goals and ideals of No Name-Calling Week.

Led by GLSEN, this letter urges members of Congress to co-sponsor a new proposed resolution affirming the goals and ideals of No Name-Calling Week, an initiative that brings attention to name-calling of all kinds and provides schools with tools and suggestions for combating name-calling, bullying, and harassment in their communities. The resolution also encourages schools to consider a more comprehensive anti-bullying and anti-harassment policy, with specific provisions addressing incidents based on sexual orientation or gender identity, and urges them to have more inclusive curricula on LGBTQ+ people, history, and events.
