Restoring Social Trust in Democracy
Washington, D.C. — Center for American Progress President and CEO Neera Tanden issued the following statement in response to the killing of two Israeli Embassy staff members outside the Capital Jewish Museum:
I condemn this horrific act of antisemitic terrorism at the Capital Jewish Museum and offer my sincere condolences for the tragic deaths of two Israeli Embassy staff members. Political violence and antisemitism have no place in America. This targeted attack that took the lives of Yaron Lischinsky and Sarah Milgrim is part of a deeply disturbing rise in antisemitic acts around the country that is unacceptable and must be stamped out.
