Washington, D.C. — CAP President Neera Tanden released the following statement in response to the Supreme Court’s decision to affirm key aspects of the Affordable Care Act:
After wasting time, precious federal resources, and a lot of energy, the Supreme Court rejected the second attempt to undermine the Affordable Care Act. This should be the final nail in the coffin of repeal by legislative and judicial means from opponents of the ACA. It is past time to move on and stop begrudging the health care received by millions of their fellow Americans.
