RELEASE: CAP Launches Campaign To Expose Project 2025

Washington, D.C. — The Center for American Progress has launched a new campaign to expose the Heritage Foundation’s Project 2025, an authoritarian playbook to destroy the 250-year-old system of checks and balances upon which American democracy was built in order to usher in a sweeping array of devastating policies that would harm all Americans. This effort will leverage CAP’s policy and communications apparatus to clarify for the American people how they would be affected by Project 2025 policies and how this agenda represents a fundamental departure from our nation’s core values.

To date, CAP has released four analyses on Project 2025 policy proposals, including:

• “The Far Right’s Invitation for Foreign Interference in U.S. Elections: How Project 2025 Would Eliminate U.S. Cyber Command’s Election Work” by Greta Bedekovics
